The Master Plan today
2017-2021
The fourth phase of the Master Plan started in April 2017 when a new steering committee was formed. As of this writing (September 2017), it is still unclear what power options will be evaluated in the fourth phase, due to the recommendations of the third phase not having made its way through Parliament yet.
The steering committee comprises six members, just like in the third phase. As of this writing (September 2017), the committee is still preparing the work ahead. One of its next tasks will be to appoint expert committees to provide advice in their respective fields of expertise regarding the energy options under consideration.
